During PCA’s summer meetings in Chicago last week, ACPA presented a draft plan to achieve greater efficiencies and marketplace impact.  The plan was based on feedback from the July 12 Industry Paving Summit involving leadership and staff of ACPA, NRMCA, and PCA.

Andy Gieraltowski and Jerry Voigt, with input and guidance from the ACPA Board of Directors, provided detailed analysis of market dynamics to inform a plan to increase market share for concrete pavements over the next 10 years. On a parallel path, Leif Wathne, along with other staff and leaders of the three associations, identified critical activities that would support the plan, also based on input received during the summit.

The plan was presented to the PCA Paving and Executive Committees during the association’s summer meeting.  ACPA will now make revisions and present a refined plan at the next PCA meeting in October.
