The FHWA Every Day Counts (EDC-4) Program created a Pavement Preservation “HOW” peer-exchange project dedicated to improving specifications and construction quality and ultimately, the use of pavement preservation strategies.

The FHWA HOW program was contracted through the CP Tech Center, which enlisted the IGGA to help conduct the project. The project conducted 10 regional peer exchanges, each of which involved three to four participating states. In total, 37 states participated in the FHWA Peer exchanges.

For each of the peer exchanges, a tech brief was prepared to document the activities and to promote the lessons learned from each event. Click here to see the FHWA Tech Briefs.
