The Ohio Concrete Association (OCA) hosted “For the Love of Concrete: 2018,” yesterday in Medina, OH.  The workshop’s scope included  concrete pavements and other structures, and included topics related to funding, specifications and standards, testing, and technology. 

Bob Krulik of OCA organized the event and presented opening remarks and discussed an investigation into the feasibility of manufacturing aggregates by nuclear methods and  Mark Pardi of the Ohio Chapter presented an Ohio DOT pavement specification update.

Leif Wathne discussed technological innovations in concrete paving.  Krulik also presented the 2018 northeast Ohio Concrete Project of the Year.
