Participating in Government Affairs Committee

The Government Affairs Committee (GAC) is an advisory committee to the Board of Directors consisting of individuals who elect to join ACPA’s Advocacy Interest Membership (AIM) category.

Advocacy Interest Membership is a special individual membership category. To be eligible for membership in this category, a member must be a stockholder, owner, director, or employee of a member admitted to any other class of membership (Article IV, Section a-i, and l). In addition, to become and remain eligible, individuals must affirm their Advocacy Interest Membership annually and pay annual dues of $10.

Membership is limited to the individual named in the application, and does not extend to any other individual, even if they share an employer. Advocacy Interest Members are members of the Government Affairs Committee (GAC). Participation also allows ACPA PAC activities to be reported and acted upon without encumbrances.
