ACPA Resolution Congratulates and Pledges Support to Biden Administration Officials
An ACPA Board of Directors Resolution formally congratulates and pledges support to President-elect Joseph R. Biden and Vice-President-elect Kamala D. Harris.
ACPA Chairman David Howard read the resolution, which congratulates the President-elect and the Vice President-elect and offered ACPA’s expertise and advice to the new Administration on matters related to highway infrastructure Investment and improvement Initiatives.
The resolution describes the role of ACPA as the technical, promotion, and legislative advocacy organization of the concrete pavement industry, and states that concrete pavements have long been recognized as the long- life, cost efficient, resilient, and durable pavement structure and resurfacing solution. The resolution also underscores how ACPA, along with its members and affiliates, “have vast technical and policy expertise with respect to highway infrastructure investment and construction.”
“ACPA hereby advises the President-elect and the Vice- President-elect and their representatives that ACPA is ready and eager to provide them the concrete pavement industry’s expertise and advice regarding the development and implementation of highway infrastructure investment and improvement initiatives both during the transition period and under the new Administration,” David continues.
The measure was approved unanimously at the ACPA’s virtual board meeting, held December 17th.
