CO/WY Chapter Demos Airport Repair Technology and Educates CDOT Aeronautics Staff
The Colorado Airport Operators Association (CAOA) held a 3-day airport pavement maintenance training in mid-August at the Rocky Mountain Metropolitan Airport, and this year an entire day was dedicated to concrete pavement. Sarah Sanders, Pavement Engineer for the CO/WY Chapter, presented on concrete pavement repairs to a room full of airport representatives, consultants, and CDOT Aeronautics. Sarah had the opportunity to engage in great discussions through all of the questions asked by attendees. After lunch, the participants had the opportunity to view demos of a partial depth repair, panel replacement, and joint resealing completed by CO/WY ACPA members Concrete Works of Colorado & IHC Scott.
