ACPA Exhibits at National Airport Conference
CO/WY Chapter – ACPA staff represented the concrete pavement industry at the National Association of State Aviation Officials (NASAO) convention in Colorado Springs last week. Angela Folkestad and Sarah Sanders had the opportunity to discuss concrete pavement solutions with DOT aviation directors and engineering consultants from across the country. They talked about life cycle cost analysis, concrete overlays, and changes to the FAA construction specifications that have allowed for additional cement types to be used, including Portland Limestone Cement (PLC).
