The American Public Works Association (APWA) held its annual Public Works Expo (PWX) August 28 – 31 with  the 2022 theme of “Ready and Resilient.” In partnership with the National Ready Mix Concrete Association (NRMCA), ACPA exhibited at the expo and made a presentation to more than 20 attendees at the Solutions Theatre on the floor of the exhibition space. ACPA Senior Director of Technical Services, Eric Ferrebee, delivered his seminar on “Design and Rehabilitation Strategies That Improve Your Pavements’ Resilience,” which closely aligned concrete resiliency with the expo’s focus on resiliency in public infrastructure. John Leckie of the Indiana ACPA Chapter, Lee Shepard of ICPA, Brian Killingsworth of NRMCA, John Adam of the CP Tech Center, and Drew Turner of Concrete Supply Co. attended the expo to meet with officials, companies, and organizations who are involved in the funding, designing, and building of transportation infrastructure projects.
