ACPA Takes Part in ASU Pavements and Materials Conference
ACPA’s President and CEO Laura O’Neill Kaumo and Senior Director of Technical Services Eric Ferrebee traveled to Arizona State University last week to take part in the Arizona Pavements and Materials Conference alongside ACPA’s Pavement Innovation Director Larry Scofield, who served on the event planning committee. The conference featured many industry topics including Infrastructure Bill updates and pavement preservation, but also featured an ACPA update and conversations on sustainability. Ferrebee discussed pavement design, Pavement ME, and AASHTO93 in a session in partnership with the CP Tech Center’s Peter Taylor and Concrete Paving Association of Minnesota’s Matt Zeller.
O’Neill Kaumo spoke on the national environment for concrete paving, alongside sustainability’s tie to environmental, economic and social returns to the industry nationwide.
