Martin Participates in ACI Concrete Convention

Tim Martin, P.E., Engineering Services Consultant with ACPA, participated in committee meetings at ACI’s Concrete Convention, taking place in San Francisco, CA this week. He attended the Concrete Pavement Committee and Certification Committee meetings, as well as a session about NEU: An ACI Center of Excellence for Carbon Neutral Concrete. Martin shared ACPA updates and pushed our messaging on sustainability and resilience throughout, highlighting the white paper and sustainability video.

Ferrebee Conducts Workshops in Arkansas

Eric Ferrebee, P.E., ACPA’s Senior Director of Technical Services, conducted two workshops in Little Rock, AR this week. The first workshop focused on Pavement ME Concrete Design and how to use ArDOT preferred strategies in designs. The second workshop covered Concrete Roundabouts, including types and layouts, maintenance of traffic, and construction. ACPA continues to bring value to our chapters and members through educational and hands on workshops.

 

Scofield Presents at ASU Workshop

ACPA’s Director of Pavement Innovation Larry Scofield presented at Arizona State University’s Pavement Maintenance and Rehabilitation Workshop on March 30th. The conference focused on the quality standards for the maintenance and rehabilitation of pavements. Scofield’s presentation was on concrete preservation. The complete agenda can be viewed here.
