ACPA Celebrates a Successful Week at World of Concrete 2026

ACPA had a productive and engaging week at the 2026 World of Concrete Show, connecting with member companies, industry partners, and key stakeholders from across the concrete industry. Throughout the event, ACPA staff spent time on the show floor strengthening relationships, exchanging ideas, and highlighting the value of concrete pavements.

ACPA’s technical team played an active role in advancing industry knowledge by delivering several industry training courses, while the ACPA booth served as a hub for education and conversation. Attendees stopped by to pick up technical resources, learn more about ACPA initiatives, and grab one of our popular concrete robot magnets.

In addition to show activities, ACPA’s Board of Directors and invited guests convened during the week to begin discussions on the association’s next strategic plan, setting the stage for the future.

World of Concrete 2026 proved to be a valuable opportunity to educate, collaborate, and look ahead—and ACPA looks forward to building on that momentum in the year ahead.

Funding and Emerging Leaders Group Updates from the ACPA Foundation

The ACPA Foundation is pleased to announce that our Board of Directors has approved the funding in the amount of $41,000 for three major initiatives for the upcoming year. These projects focus on professional development and material innovation.

  • MIT Concrete Sustainability Hub:
    We are funding a critical research project titled, “Market Dynamics of Competing Paving Materials.” This study aims to create a predictive model that quantifies how market dynamics and design alternatives influence pavement costs.
  • ELG Workshops via ACPA Chapters:
    Two projects have been approved to support the Pennsylvania and South Dakota ACPA chapters in hosting educational events targeting local emerging leaders.  These workshops will provide high-quality education and networking for consulting engineers, material suppliers, city/county departments, and the state DOT representatives.
