ACPA Engages at Transportation Research Board

Last week was the 105th Annual Transportation Research Board meeting in Washington, D.C. This event helps set and develop research priorities for the transportation industry and provides a place for research updates and tech transfer with state agencies, FHWA, and consultants across the country. ACPA’s engineering team was actively engaged at the meeting with Sarah Dalton, Eric Ferrebee, and Nick Davis representing the concrete pavement industry in committee meetings and technical sessions. Sarah Dalton and ACPA board member David Sciullo (Golden Triangle Construction) provided a contractor’s perspective to a session on the Implementation of Performance Engineered Mixtures. Sarah and Eric were also engaged within the Concrete Pavement Committees on Design & Construction and Materials to help steer research priorities for the industry.

During the meeting, ACPA also hosted its annual reception, welcoming more than 200 members, state agencies, and consultants.
