ACPA enjoyed a strong presence at the Florida Transportation Builders Association’s 2018 Construction Conference on Feb. 8 and 9.  The event was held in Orlando, Fla., and attracted more than 1,700 attendees.

Wathne highlighted the association’s technical and promotion objectives and major goals. Wathne also expressed the Association’s excitement and interest in becoming more involved with agencies and industry in Florida, then thanked local Association members for their support of the new chapter.

ACPA Vice Chairman Jim Mack (CEMEX) also spoke at the conference on jointing concrete pavements and how to make them work in intersection applications, a topic identified as a key learning objective of the Florida DOT for its growing concrete paving program.
