FHWA Offers Jointed Precast Concrete Resources
The FHWA has released two publications on jointed precast concrete pavements (JPrPCP).
The “Guide Specification for Jointed Precast Concrete Pavement” is a 23-page tech breif that includes considerations for the use of JPrCP based on the best practices observed from experiences of numerous highway agencies. Click here to download the guide spec.
“Jointed Precast Concrete Pavement Panel Fabrication and Installation Checklists” is intended for agency/owner personnel, but also recommended for contractors who place JPrCP. Click hereto download the 12-page checklist publication.
