President Biden Signs Omnibus Appropriations Bill into Law
Four months after the signing of the Bipartisan Infrastructure Bill (BIL) (also known as the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act), the full force of the historical legislation can begin to be realized. In signing the FY2022 Consolidated Appropriations Bill, President Biden lifted the constraints imposed on the implementation of the BIL by the Continuing Resolutions that had kept the government open for the past five months. This package will bring into full effect the nearly 20% increase in highway formula programs and end the prohibitions of ‘new-starts.’ ACPA applauds Congress for putting together this deal and funding America’s infrastructure needs!
