Ken Liescheidt, Missouri/Kansas Chapter, ACPA MO Field Engineer, is retiring after 19 years of dedicated service to the chapter and the industry.

Ken came to Missouri/Kansas Chapter in 2002 after a distinguished 30-year career with MoDOT and a total of 33 years of service in the U.S. Army & Missouri National Guard.

During his time with the Chapter, Ken’s passion and commitment to the industry has been second to none and his accomplishments have been numerous.

He has been responsible for promoting concrete pavement products across all markets and many agencies.

He is directly responsible for building an ever-growing concrete overlay parking lot market in the St. Louis area, and he has personally promoted over 20 projects across numerous school districts and public agencies.

Ken has helped build strong relationships with engineers and executives from agencies, industry and consulting practices, all of whom are crucial to current and future industry success.

“Everyone knows Ken and everyone likes and respects the way he does business,” says Jerry Voigt, ACPA President & CEO. “He’s always smiling and positive–he’s just a solid individual with a solid reputation and his service during his ACPA career was outstanding.”

“Ken has exemplified the passion, energy and persistence needed to promote concrete pavement products successfully,” says Todd LaTorella, Executive Director of the Missouri/Kansas Chapter. “Ken’s contributions and accomplishments to the Chapter have been invaluable and are second to none in our industry. He will be sorely missed as a member of the MO/KS ACPA promotion team, but has left an indelible mark.”

Dave Ahlvers, MoDOT State Construction & Materials Engineer adds, “I really admire Ken’s dedication and energy. He is a tireless advocate for concrete paving and a respected partner.”

Ken will be with the chapter through the end of the month. We hope you’ll join us in wishing him the best in the next chapter of his life! Ken’s contact information is or 314-651-2721 (mobile).
