A Transportation Research Board webinar will cover “Concrete Overlay Performance & Research Innovations.” Those interested are encouraged to register as soon as possible. The webinar will be held Thursday, Sept. 5, from noon to 2:00 p.m. (CDT) |1:00 to 3:00 p.m. (EDT).
The two-hour webinar will describe highway agencies’ experiences with concrete overlays, along with experiences with recent innovations, including interlayers and fiber reinforcement. Presenters will discuss case studies of concrete overlays and illustrate design considerations of this technique.
Moderated by Kurt Smith, Applied Pavement Technology, Inc.,* the webinar will be presented by John Donahoe, Missouri Department of Transportation, Dan DeGraaf, Michigan Concrete Association; Julie Vandenbossche, University of Pittsburgh,* and Jeff Roesler, University of Illinois and President-ISCP.* A certificate for 2.0 PDHs will be provided to professional engineers who register and attend the webinar individually.
