Participation in the concrete overlay program broke another record this week, topping more than 2,500 on Tuesday.
Leveraging the success of the overlay series, the program is expanding with webinars on ADA considerations in project design and construction.
The fourth webinar in the current series, “Concrete Overlay Plans, Maintenance of Traffic & Construction,” had a final registration count of 764 professionals from the public and private sectors. The five-part concrete overlay program concludes next Tuesday with “Concrete Overlay Maintenance and Available Resources.”
The webinar program is the result of teamwork among the CP Tech Center, the Chapter network of promoters, and ACPA staff, as well as cross-promotion by other national association partners.
The webinar program continues with a two-part series covering ADA considerations in construction of pavements and other facilities. The program will include:
May 12, Noon (Central)– ADA Guidelines for DOT and Municipal Project Planning & Design (Understanding PROWAG) by Jesse Jonas, Director of Engineering for the Missouri/Kansas Chapter-ACPA.
May 19, Noon (Central) – How States are Implementing PROWAG for ADA Compliance in Project Design and Construction (with examples) by Jackie Spoor, Pavement Engineer, Wisconsin Concrete Pavement Association, and Jesse Jonas of the Missouri/Kansas Chapter.

He and Chrissy Mysko have been working with chapters and the CP Tech Center to drive registration directly to customers.
The revised system now generates a confirmation email immediately after registration. Scott has also been working with Chapters to increase survey responses with the aim of further developing topics and improving the educational experience for participants.
