The fifth webinar in the five-part concrete overlay series yesterday again drew a record number of participants. Breaking last week’s record, this and the other four webinars in the series saw a total of more than 3,500 participants.
Building on the momentum, the CPTech Center, with support from ACPA national staff, chapters, and allies, has expanded the webinar series again. As reported in ACPA TODAY last week, the webinar program is expanding with webinars covering ADA considerations in project design and construction. Yesterday, another series was added, a two-part series covering pavement preservation and featuring presentations by John Roberts and other experts.
Here’s a snapshot of events in the line-up:
May 12, Noon (Central)—Planning and Design ADA Guidelines for DOT, and Municipalities (Understanding PROWAG 2011) by Jesse Jonas of the Missouri/Kansas Chapter.
May 19, Noon (Central)—How are States Implementing PROWAG: An In-depth look at Wisconsin and Missouri’s Approaches to ADA Compliance by Jackie Spoor of the Wisconsin Concrete Pavement Association, and Jesse Jonas of the Missouri/Kansas Chapter.
May 26, Noon (Central)–Concrete Pavement Preservation I–Understanding the role of preventative maintenance and pavement evaluation when developing a preservation treatment plan by John Roberts and other subject matter experts.
June 2, Noon (Central)–Concrete Pavement Preservation II–Preservation treatment options and strategy selection methods for increased pavement life and customer satisfaction by John Roberts and other subject matter experts.
