ACPA Publishes 2019 Annual Report
Just prior to the holidays, Jerry Voigt invited members to go back to the future. That’s the theme of the 2019 ACPA Annual Report, which presents a snapshot of ACPA programs and projects, as well as “an outlook for a stronger market moving forward,” he says.
The 22-page report highlights membership gains for 2019, a strategic plan for the future, advocacy efforts, and support of members and chapters. Technical service, which in 2019, represented a greater than $10 million value to members, is also highlighted, along with examples of some of the technical support initiatives and accomplishments for the year.
The annual report also details national training, including our efforts to support PavementDesigner.org, the cement and concrete industry’s pavement thickness design platform. More than 1,750 people have received training from ACPA and NRMCA, and there are more than 5,000 unique users of the program worldwide. In all, 11,000 completed design runs have been completed since the program was formally launched in 2017.
Communications and marketing results are also featured in the report, as well as a new committee structure that was approved in December. The annual report includes much more information that captures the energy, excitement and optimism of ACPA members, staff and affiliates.
