In the past 10 days, registrations for the ACPA Mid-Year meeting have been growing rapidly. Sixty-five people have now pre-registered one month out from the start of the event. The meeting, which will be held June 22nd and June 23rd, with the ACPA Board of Directors meeting following on June 24th, will be at the Saint Kate–The Arts Hotel, located at 139 E Kilbourn Ave., Milwaukee, WI 53202.
The event features what should be two incredible receptions. The reception at the Harley Davidson Museum on Tuesday night will allow guests to spend time together with old and new friends, as well as tour the museum and learn about the rich history of the Harley. On Wednesday night, attendees will gather at the famous Milwaukee Brewing Company. Voted as Milwaukee’s Best Craft Brewery of 2019, the brewery features a sustainable, creative, and innovative brewing environment unlike any other.
“I truly believe that our members are looking forward to getting together face-to-face to talk about concrete pavements and to enjoy industry fellowship,” said ACPA President & CEO, Jerry Voigt. “For many it has been a long time – over 15 months with the pandemic—between opportunities to get together. I expect the social events will be as valuable to participants as any of the committee meetings they attend.”
“We want our members to know that ACPA, our reception vendors, and the Saint Kate Hotel are committed to following best practices to deliver an event with enhanced health and safety measures,” said Jerry. “We don’t want anyone to hesitate about participating, so if you want to get off Zoom and get out of the house, then the ACPA Mid-Year Meeting presents a great opportunity to reconnect and enjoy participating with your industry peers.”
