Registration is now open for the ACPA’s Best Practices in Airfield Pavement Design and Construction Workshop, hosted August 2 – 4 in Indianapolis. In cooperation with the Indianapolis Airport Authority and led by ACPA Chief of Engineering and Construction Gary Mitchell, P.E., this three-day program will cover best practices in designing, constructing, and rehabilitating airfield pavements. Presenters and facilitators include experts from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers’ Transportation System Center, the FAA Headquarters Office of Airport Safety and Standards, Air Force Civil Engineering Center, ACPA, and companies with direct involvement in the design and construction of FAA and Tri-Services projects.
