ACPA in Tucson to Promote Concrete at the Arizona Roads and Streets Conference
Last week, Laura O’Neill Kaumo, Larry Scofield, Charley Territo, and Dominic Gatti exhibited at the Arizona Roads and Streets Conference hosted by the Arizona Chapter of the American Council of Engineering Companies. The ACPA booth served as a hub for discussions with attendees about the benefits of concrete paving for local roads and Arizona infrastructure; Larry was a crowd favorite among Arizona DOT officials. It was apparent he is a highly respected subject matter expert, and Larry made sure ACPAs point of view was well represented in sessions where topics were asphalt and concrete-related.
Laura and Charley connected with high-priority contacts, and Dominic made inroads with local RCC contractors and even a few potential future ACPA members. The conference was a networking success, accompanied by breathtaking views of the Santa Catalina Mountains. Thank you to Justan Rice and the whole ACEZ-AZ team for putting on an excellent conference!
