Do you know a student studying engineering, planning, statistics, materials, computer science, or economics? Last week, through the Turner-Fairbank Highway Research Center, the Federal Highway Administration launched the 2022 Long-Term Infrastructure Performance Student Data Analysis project. The top two prizes include an all-expenses-paid trip to the Transportation Research Board’s 2023 Annual Meeting in Washington, D.C., and the winner will have their paper published by FHWA. Open to undergraduate and graduate students, the competition utilizes the Long-Term Pavement Performance (LTPP) or Long-Term Bridge Performance (LTBP) data sets to study the various factors affecting pavement and bridge lifespans. Papers are due July 29, 2022; the full details can be found here!
