ACPA is urging members, chapter affiliates, staff, and other stakeholders in the transportation construction community to contact your Senators and urge support for the bipartisan infrastructure deal. Although this past Wednesday’s vote to open debate on this bipartisan infrastructure framework failed, the 22 bipartisan Senators working on the legislation have indicated they are making progress and hope to have a final agreement so the Senate can proceed to debate on the legislation next week. Majority Leader Schumer has indicated the Senate will vote again to open debate on the legislation.

As noted in last week’s ACPA call to action, this plan takes vital steps to provide significant investment to modernize our nation’s surface transportation infrastructure to meet our country’s growing infrastructure needs. This investment is hugely important to our concrete pavement industry. It is critical that we urge the Senate to stay committed to having this bipartisan infrastructure package signed into law.

As an industry stakeholder that belongs to the North American Concrete Alliance* (NACA), it is important for you to voice your support for this bipartisan infrastructure deal – NOW!
