Last week, the U.S. Department of Transportation published a Notice of Funding Opportunity for $1 billion in competitive grants under the Safe Streets and Roads for All (SS4A) program of the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law (BIL). With a deadline of September 15^th, this funding opportunity can be used to implement projects that are consistent with an existing Action Plan.
