US DOT Announces $1 billion in Safety Grants
Last week, the U.S. Department of Transportation published a Notice of Funding Opportunity for $1 billion in competitive grants under the Safe Streets and Roads for All (SS4A) program of the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law (BIL). With a deadline of September 15th, this funding opportunity can be used to implement projects that are consistent with an existing Action Plan. Examples of activities that may align with an existing Action Plan can be found here, and more details about the program overall can be found here.
